Brief Biography

Dr Gurmeet Singh is a senior mathematics educator and researcher with over 31 years of teaching experience. He holds a PhD in Complex Analysis (Geometric Function Theory) and has supervised several MPhil and PhD scholars. He has published extensively, with 130+ research papers and multiple books in mathematics, and has delivered keynote talks at international universities and conferences worldwide. He has also served in academic leadership roles, currently as Vice Principal and Head of the PG Department of Mathematics at GSSDGS Khalsa College (Autonomous), Patiala. He is widely recognised for his contributions to research, teaching, and academic development and has received several national and international awards.

Dr Harold Mayaba is an Agri-Food Consultant, Purpose, Hope and Resilience Speaker, Transformational Speaker, and Author based in New Zealand. He helps individuals, businesses, and diaspora investors unlock opportunities through purpose-led leadership, market insight, and practical agribusiness strategy. With a strong background in consumer behaviour, agribusiness, and resilience, he is passionate about helping people and organisations discover purpose, maintain hope, build resilience, and grow with lasting impact. 

Achievements

I am the founder of H|M Agri-Food Consulting & Speaking and TRADEit Zambia, two businesses focused on creating impact through agribusiness, market development, speaking, and entrepreneurship. I completed a PhD in Applied Economics with a focus on Agribusiness and consumer behaviour at Lincoln University, New Zealand. In addition, I was awarded an Honorary Doctorate in Transformational Leadership and Resilience, in recognition of my work in inspiring and empowering individuals and communities through purpose-driven leadership. I have also built a reputation as a Purpose, Hope and Resilience Speaker, helping people and organisations grow through challenge and change.

In addition, I build partnerships, manage client relationships, represent my businesses professionally, and ensure that all projects align with the vision of creating value, transformation, and long-term impact.
